Victor, Lee and Veronica have just completed one. Let’s hear what did they hope to achieve.
Viktor had been wanting to do a yoga teacher training for a while because he loves yoga. He attended a yoga retreat that reinforced is love for yoga and when he knew about In Balance Hot Yoga teacher training he felt it was the perfect opportunity, because he liked the yoga style, the teachers, it was close to home and the schedule worked well so that he
wouldn’t need to take so much time off work.
Lee was so excited when she knew that Balance Hot Yoga teacher training was coming up.
It just felt that the timing was perfect, she was going to be in Southampton long enough and as she had been enjoying practicing in the studio for a while,
all the boxes were being ticked.
Veronika on the other hand had been considering to travel to India for her yoga teacher training for a whole month. Once she started practicing at In Balance Hot Yoga, she shared her intention to become a yoga teacher, with the In Balance Hot Yoga teacher training programme coming up in the spring,
everything just clicked.
Victor has shared that In Balance Hot Yoga teacher training programme was the best thing he has done for himself in years. He found that the investment was so worth it, specially with the training being in a small group.
Lee found the investment of spending five weeks focusing on their mental health, focusing on their physical health no matter what you're doing whether you're going to teach yoga or go back to whatever job you had,
you go back with a completely different mindset mentally and physically.
Lee’s level of anxiety had reduced to half just a few weeks after the end of the programme, she say’s “That's a change. Slowly is going lower and lower. So that's good. I’ve notice from teaching the first class to the third class today it's been so much different feeling.”
Veronika feel pretty good standing in front of a class and teaching, because of the experience and the practice they had during the programme, practicing teaching.
Lee adds that when they first went to teach each other they had n idea of what to teach, what to say, thinking they would never be able to teach a yoga class and
by the end of the programme they were teaching a 90mins class.
Veronika found that trusting the journey and to trust yourself, you can do it, no need to over thinking it.
She had been practicing for over 10 years but after this training it really changed the way she goes into poses, the way she thinks about the poses, it is very different.
Now she feel like she has a little teacher in her head cuing up the practice.
Victor shared how much yoga practice they were doing every day, usually hours of practice. On this note Veronika recommends that future graduates should have at least six months of a yoga practice before the teacher training, to be ok with the intensity of daily practice during the programme.
Victor, Lee and Veronika all had different goals for the teacher training.
They found that any future graduate that wants to do the programme to grow their practice, then they will get that, if they want to teach then they will learn how to teach.
Lee feels that anyone that has a passion of determination to a yoga teacher training programme
will find a way to do the training.
We are very grateful for the authentic and honest share from the recent graduates and very proud to have witnessed their progression after the programme, into
teaching classes either at the studio or setting up their own classes.
Above all the connection and the great sense of belonging generated from the teacher training between all graduates is what fils our hearts.
Helping men and women to be in the DRIVER seat of their life and to awaken their inner POWER.
